"DeGeneration Dramahendl" is part of the mini-collection "Gähneration Dramahendl" and shows how quickly right-wing self-staging turns into pure comedy once you scratch the surface. Where the original depicts a pathetic eagle with a staunchly German right-wing slant, here a completely overwhelmed, half-digested-looking chicken stumbles across the screen, accompanied by a whole horde of equally confused disaster chicks. The livestream of the new AfD youth organization "Generation Deutschland" was just as chaotic as this bunch - a kind of HTLR3.0 wannabe show that failed due to its own seriousness.
In this variation, the Dramahendl becomes the ultimate embodiment of right-wing embarrassment: a scrawny, trembling bird, wearing an aluminum foil hat, sweating profusely, and spitting neon-green rage-pulp, summarizing the mental state of this newly founded wannabe movement more aptly than any political statement. The combination of paranoia, overwhelmedness, and theatrical self-presentation completely tips over into the ridiculous. A symbol of how unstable right-wing propaganda becomes as soon as it can no longer echo within its own bubble.
